In 1888, Jules Baud was commissioned to design a pair of glasses for Chamonix crystal hunters, marking the start of Julbo. Testing their products on peaks such as Everest, Makalu, and K2, made it obvious to their customers this eyewear wasn't just stylish, but made to withstand glacial conditions year after year. Since then, Julbo has continuously revolutionized the world of eye protection by creating eyewear for mountaineers and outdoor enthusiasts alike.
