Cantology Cant Shims
Cantology Intra-Sole Cant Shims adjust a skier’s boot alignment, helping improve stance, balance, and edge control on the snow. They provide a customized fit between the boot and binding system to support proper ski alignment. Cantology Cant Shims fit between your ski boot and the replaceable sole, providing a precise, effective, cosmetically transparent adjustment to the angle between your ski boots and skis.
Each kit includes 1 toe and 1 heel piece to modify one (1) boot.
Depending on the degree of cant and your ski boot model, you will need longer screws and epoxy adhesive to safely reattach the sole.
Important Disclaimer: Ski boot toes and heels must be professionally modified with a specialized router to restore the original ISO 5355 or ISO 23223 toe and heel height dimensions after installing the Cant Shims in order to ensure proper compatibility and function with the ski binding. Failure to make the necessary modifications may affect binding function and release performance. Always have a certified ski binding technician inspect and test the setup before use.
