Dalbello has been making ski boots in the mountains of Italy since 1974. Starting with leather ski boots, Dalbello was quick to adapt to new plastic boot technology. As ski boot design was quickly changing in the late 80's and early 90's Dalbello partnered with free skiing champion Glen Plake to develop the unique three piece cabriolet design that is now their trademark. This design allows for progressive and responsive flex for great response and feel with better heal lock thanks to the dynalink heel buckle design. Over the years Dalbello has produced 13 million pairs of ski boots and the factory is sought after by many other brands such as Scarpa to manufacture their boots.
